Verifysoft becomes reseller of Software Diagnostics Technology GmbH. The reseller agreement covers Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, France, Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxemburg.
Software Diagnostics, headquartered in Potsdam, Germany, is a spin-off of the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI). Testwell CTC++ Test Coverage Analyser Version 6.5.7 available

Testwell announces the availability of a new version of Testwell CTC++ for all supported host platforms (Windows, Linux, Solaris, HP-UX). The version 6.5.7 shows now also a separate Untested Code page in the HTML report.
There is also a new CTC++ for Symbian Target Devices add-on v4.2 available. Some small changes in run-time architecture at the target device making it more robust.

Verifysoft Names Dirk Sanny as Sales Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Verifysoft Technology, today announced that Dirk Sanny has been appointed to the position of sales director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Prior to joining Verifysoft Technology, Mr. Sanny held a number sales positions with software distributors and test tool vendors. For over ten years he held the position of Senior Key Account Manager with Softline AG, a leading international company in the sphere of software licensing and full IT-services. Dirk Sanny is a graduate of University of Applied Sciences in Nürtingen (Germany).

PAC-Study: Software-Testing booms

According to the study Worldwide Testing Services: Global View 2010-2014 of the marketanalist Pierre Audoin Consultants (PAC) software testing is one of the fastest-growing areas of IT expenditure.
In 2010 approximatively euros 79bn will be spent worldwide for tests (including internel and external testing skills, tools and related hardware and systems). This cost should reach the barrier of euros 100bn in 2014, with a growth of 5,2% per year. The testing sector is becoming one of the most active on the labormarket. The study estimates that the number of professional testers exceeds already 100 000 worldwide.
The testing market is growing, because companies realises that no or inadequate testing may cause significant costs.

Automatic Test Generation Tool Conformiq Qtronic 2.1 Upgraded to Conformiq 4.2: Integration with Requirements and Test Management Tools

Conformiq announced the availability of version 4.2 of the Conformiq Tool Suite consisting of Conformiq Modeler™ 4.2 and Conformiq Designer™ 4.2.
Conformiq simplifies naming of the Conformiq brand and clarifies that Conformiq 4.2 is a fourth-generation technology. The company has been developing model-based testing tools for ten years and wants to communicate the level of maturity in the current offering.
Conformiq 4.2 is adding a number of import and integration features. Conformiq Designer 4.2 can now import existing TTCN-3 type definitions. Rational Software Architect Realtime Edition (RSARTE) can be used for writing Conformiq models, and the Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect importer is enhanced with support for importing class diagram and physical model structure.
Conformiq Designer 4.2 is now able to import requirements from third party tools and automatically publish generated tests to test management tools. The new Conformiq 4.2 supports these integrations out of the box with the following tools:

IBM RequisitePro (requirement management tool) version 7.1
HP QualityCenter (requirement and test management tool) version 9 and 10
IBM DOORS (requirement management tool) version 9.2

Conformiq Tool Suite automates the design of functional tests. Tests are generated automatically from system models, and published in human-readable and executable test scripts in customizable formats including HTML, XML, Python, Perl, TCL, Visual Basic, and TTCN-3. The models describe the products being tested and can be created in a fraction of the time needed to construct the corresponding test cases by hand.

Embedded World 2010: Testing Tools for Embedded Software

At the Embedded World 2010 Congress in Nuremberg (Germany), Verifysoft Technology presented tools for embedded software development: Testwell CTC++ code coverage tool, Testwell CMT++ code complexity measure tool and the automatic test generator Conformiq.

Partnership with Development Process/CMMI Specialist Spirula

Verifysoft and the French company Spirula concluded a partnership.
Spirula helps its customers to define the most efficient development processes, to implement dashboards for project monitoring and to enhance the reliability of estimates for cost, effort and planning.
As part of this partnership, seminars on the topic of "CMMI, Model Driven Testing et Capitalisation" will be organised the 13th of April 2010 in Paris and the 18th of May 2010 in Offenburg (close to Strasbourg).
