QuickAnt®Test Pro (Autolog Pro) - Automate your Java Testing Process !

QuickAnt® Test Pro is a test automation tool for Java applications. Its objective is to facilitate the testing work for a development team.

QuickAnt® Test Pro includes three main modules:

  • the Rapid Ant Designer (RAD)
  • the QuickAnt scripts launch and supervision interface
  • the collaborative reports portal

The Rapid Ant Designer allows users to generate Ant scripts in an easy way. All generated scripts are 100% Ant compliant:

  • contextual menues for all tasks
  • XML preview
  • graphical dependencies view for Ant tasks
  • existing scripts import
  • project report

The QuickAnt Main Interface is dedicated to automatic tasks launching and follow-up:

  • various tools (comercial tools or/and freeware) can be launched over a common interface - no need to learn how to use many different tools
  • existing Ant files can be run with QuickAnt without any modification
  • 100% based on recognized standards: J2EE, XML, Ant, JUnit
  • uses any JVM
  • Plug-in for Eclipse/WSAD

The collaborative reports portal:

  • all testing tools reports are available through a unique intranet portal
  • collaborative features include : mailing list, access to all individual reports, ...

QuickAnt® Test Pro has the following key features:

  • various testing tools can be launched over a common interface : no need to learn how to use many different tools
  • testing phases are already implemented inside QuickAnt Test Pro and constitute a reliable process, thus freeing the developers from loosing time on procedures (they are implemented in QuickAnt Test Pro)
  • the test framework adapts itself to the development framework/organization/architecture, so every object of the application that has to be verified or tested is automatically found by QuickAnt Test Pro and tests are run on them

The operation mode is very simple to use for developers.

When a developer needs to do a build or a test, he simply runs QuickAnt Test Pro (or launch it through Eclipse or WSAD) and chosses a task from the main menu.
QuickAnt Test Pro then automatically runs the chosen task, executing it or prepares everything needed to facilitate the definition of a test.
All results are easily shown in HTML format through an automatically generated Test Portal.

QuickAnt Test Pro accepts any kind of in-house, freeware or commercial tool. The integration is made in a couple of hours through an XML api.
