Conformiq Software Ltd. http://www.conformiq.com and Verifysoft Technology GmbH http://www.verifysoft.com announced the release of Conformiq Test Generator 2.2 and the introduction of this new testing technology in the german speaking markets.

Conformiq Test Generator is a solution for dynamic model-based test generation and automatic test execution. It allows automated, thorough and cost-effective testing of complex systems.
Conformiq Test Generator and its model-based testing approach have been successfully deployed in various demanding situations ranging from embedded software testing to testing of financial systems.
The automatic test generator is platform and technology independent. The System Under Test may be virtually anything from off-the-shelf software on desktop PCs to industrial embedded software running on proprietary hardware.
The advanced test generation algorithms enables Conformiq Test Generator to test system aspects that are otherwise difficult or impossible to test - such as synchronization issues and testing of concurrent and overlapping functionalities and their combinations.
Conformiq Test Generator replaces the manual process of writing test scripts with the building of a test model. The application is described as a graphical test model which uses extended UML statecharts. The test generator analyses this model and generates automatically a large number of relevant tests that cover all relevant combinations and aspects of the model. Thanks to this feature, a maximum test coverage is achieved in a short time. This releases the burden of writing manual test cases and script programming from the test engineers. The relevance of the generated test cases is guaranteed by Conformiq Test Generatorīs intelligent algorithms.
