Load Testing With QTest - Monitors

If you want to eliminate bottlenecks in your web application infrastructure, you have to collect performance data from the entire application infrastructure.
This means that when choosing an automated tool to collect performance data on your web application you will need a web load tool that includes monitors or modules that allows you to monitor your entire web application environment while under a load.
QTest has 15 web load test monitors to collect specific performance data on your entire web application environment.
Performance data can be collected from your web and application servers, database's, and other parts of the application infrastructure.

Data collected includes:

  • Memory
  • Processor usage
  • Disk read
  • Write time
  • Cache information

With QTest all performance data is collected automatically and then centrally located in a repository.
QTest's repository allows you to build custom graphs and cross reference each data point with other data from the same, or different test scenarios.
