Coverity provides a number of dashboards for developers and managers to manage the quality and security of their code base. Coverity provides a full workflow capability to manage the lifecycle of a defect or security vulnerability from initial detection to fixing.

Fixing bugs faster

The Coverity Defect Manager has a simple but powerful interface for quickly honing in on critical areas that require immediate attention. The Coverity Code Browser displays errors inline with code. All variables, function calls, etc. are fully linkable enabling developers to quickly understand how to fix defects. The specific line of code where the defect occurs are highlighted for fast diagnosis and isolation.

Management Reporting

Coverity provides a full range of management reporting capabilities enabling upper management to quickly assess the status of current projects. In addition, all historical information is preserved enabling tracking of trend information across time as well as the ability to perform comparisons across code bases, versions, builds, components and files. The Coverity Management reporting dashboard is flexible enabling a variety of views to better manage your projects quality and security needs.

Integrating With Existing Environment

For those customers who prefer to use their own interfaces or who wish to integrate into their existing bug tracking system, Coverity is fully opens standard compliant providing various interfaces and export options. For instance all of Coverity's capabilities can be driven through command line and are fully scriptable. Coverity also provides XML, CSV and static HTML output formats.
